iomob.net has been pioneering advanced in how micromobility services such as bikesharing and e-scooter sharing can support first-mile/last-mile in Mobility as a Service solutions operated by public and private transportation players. In the case of Iomob we work with rail and bus operators, airlines and transit authorities to allow them a full stack solution that includes intermodal algorithms, integrations of public and private services and whenever possible, deeply integrated booking and payment of those services.

Today, Iomob is excited to announce that Oliver Bruce, former Uber executive and one of the driving forces for Micromobility Industries, the leading global micromobility advocacy group and the host of the definitive micromobility conferences on both sides of the Atlantic, has officially joined our team as a strategic advisor.

“I’ve been watching Iomob since early on in the journey and have been impressed with the vision that I’ve seen for a world where trips are strung together seamlessly. I’m excited to learn from the Iomob team who are tech and thought leaders on the future of mobility. Their vision for global mobility roaming and deep technical support for micromobility integration into the ecosystem is right on. I’m excited to see where we can take this and to help Iomob to achieve their global ambitions.”

From my perspective, it is hard to quantify the value Oliver can play for Iomob in supporting our goals to support a global, interoperable, roaming Mobility as a Service ecosystem. Given Oliver’s background in ridehailing and his deep expertise and connections in micromobility, it is a major victory for Iomob to secure his advisory services. We at Iomob have been very hard at work on supporting the deep integrations of a range of major micromobility services to support our demand driving customers in Europe and around the globe and Oliver’s global thought leadership and network will be counted on to achieve our growing relationships with the micromobility ecosystem.
